During my time here at BC I have used my knowledge of design to help facilitate tasks, both aesthetically and logically. My goal in this role is to ensure that instructors and students are able to leave with a positively memorable experience when they think of BC Online. With 10+ years in the Instructional Design/Administrative field, I feel as though I’ve always been a part of this college and this team.

I have been serving at Broward College since 2012 in Instructional Design and as a Biology Adjunct. My educational background includes a Biology B.A. from Rutgers University, Teaching Certification from William Paterson University, Marine Biology M.S. from Nova Southeastern University, and a Geomatics Engineering M.S. from the University of Florida. I enjoy working with faculty and departments on course design and delivery as a QM Certified Master Reviewer.

I am a diversified professional with experience in both education and the corporate world. Having worked internationally, I also have a deep love for languages. My tenure at Broward College spans eighteen years, and I firmly believe that any student can achieve their goals with the desire to learn, proper support, and a nurturing environment.

I’m a dedicated multi-disciplinary professional with over two decades of experience in broadcast television production, post-production, multimedia, and graphic design.  I’ve had the opportunity to work for three different institutions of higher learning prior to coming onboard with Broward College, which further enabled me to develop my technical and communicative skills.  My educational background includes a master’s degree (M.S.Ed.) in Instructional Technology and Design and a bachelor’s degree in English literature.  I’m passionate about developing substantive and engaging learning assets/content that support the instructional design team and faculty.

I moved to South Florida in 2007 from New York. In 2008, I started attending classes at Broward College and was hired by BC part-time in the Computer Science department in bldg. 13 on Central Campus in 2010. I started on the Instructional Design path in 2015 where I was hired first as a programmer and then as an instructional designer where I developed competency based educational courses on the TAACCCT grant. When the grant was completed, my position was absorbed into BC Online where I am currently. I have a background in computer science which helps me understand and build interactive learning components that help assist students in achieving learning objectives in online courses.
